This snowmobile trip in Chile is really like no other trip in the world. Traveling to experience the South Pacific Winter is just an exceptional experience. This is truly a bucket list trip for any mountain enthusiast!
Ride with our Backcountry Adventure Team in the majestic Andes Mountains of South America. Snowmobiling in Chile is, for the most part, non-existent. What this means for you is that you and your group will have the entire zone to yourselves. Look around…everything you see is what you are able to ride and explore. No other sleds or tour groups will be on the mountain!
Our base camp facility in Chile is a ride-in, ride-out adventure. You’ll ride right from our base camp lodge to the endless powder playgrounds with our best guides.
One mile from our base camp lodge is a new ski resort with full bar, spa, and pool. Many of our solo travelers and groups chose the option to stay at this resort, and have us pick you up and drop you off there each day. We customize your trip to make it just as you like.
The riding
Riding in Chile means you get to ride real Winter and Spring conditions. We ride all day, just like you would in the winter anywhere.
Important information:
- You will fly into Temuco Chile (ZCO). (All flights to Temuco will have you connect through Santiago). From here you can choose to have us pick you up or you can pick up your rental car from the Temuco airport and drive to the lodge (approximately 1.5 hours).
- Take your pick from our fleet of modern mountain snowmobiles:Polaris AXYS 800 or Skidoo Summit 800 + 850
- You’ll want to pack your winter outwear. Avalanche beacons are required for snowmobile tours. Bring your own, or rent one of ours.
Please note: There is no cell service at the lodge, however WiFi is available.
